LIGGETT, Rex W., 81, of Richmond, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at his home. He was born March 7, 1931, in Hopedale, Ohio, a son of the late Rexford C. and Mary (McGrail) Liggett.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janet M. Liggett and son, Rex W. Liggett Jr. Rex was Methodist by faith. He served his country in the Army Air Corp. Rex was a member of the VFW Amsterdam.

Rex is survived by sons, Joel K. (Kristie) Liggett of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Robert J. (Janice) Liggett of Richmond, Ohio, and Mark E. (Donna) Liggett of Wintersville; siblings, Ronald, Carol, and Karen; grandchildren, Billie J. Liggett, Jeanie K. Liggett, Kevin M. Liggett, Jeffrey M. Liggett, Jason L. Liggett, and Lindsey M. Koch; and seven great- grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 5 p.m. until time of services at 6:30 p.m. with Reverend Craig Smith officiating.

I enjoyed working with him at Jefferson Behavioral Health System. He was such a nice man, and loves his kids and grandkids, and all his family. may he be golfing right now and being with his wife and son. god bless you all in this sad time in your life.
