#11 Paul A. Young 2013-01-12 21:11 I also went to school with Earl, Elementary,Jr.High and H.S. we were in many classes together through the years.Played intramural basketball together, little league baseball,Babe Ruth with him & brother Tim new them both quite well & his father Earl.My sincerest & deepest condolences to the family and friends of Earl! He will be missed. My fondest memories of Earl, receiving his nick name "Earl the Pearl" in sixth grade by our Elementary teacher Mr. Vasotec. * But most memorable thing & I will never forget the time we went on a sixth grade picnic down to Ogilby Park Wheeling,WV. We both got into a small & heated fight playing wiffle ball and the end result for the both of us was receiving our first swat of a wooden paddle with holes in it! I will never forget the whistling sound of it before it connected to our bottoms! We both grew from that experience! Rest in peace my friend! May God bless you all! Quote

#12 Tami Kirkland Thygesen 2013-01-19 06:26 I was so saddened to hear about Earl's passing. I have many fond memories of our childhood. At least he is not suffering anymore and is resting in peace. He is now in heaven with Grandma and all of his uncles. Quote
