Giles Reeves, 78, of Richmond, OH, passed away January 21, 2013 at his home.

He was born October 14, 1934 in Weirton, WV, a son of the late Rudolph C. and Marian W. (Allen) Reeves.

Giles served his country in the United States Army.

He was retired from Weirton Steel. Giles was a member of the Richmond United Methodist Church, Richmond Historical Society, and on the Yellow Creek Watershed Committee. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and model airplanes.

He is survived by his loving wife, Esther (Stephen) Reeves; children, Heather M., Austin C., and Dawn A. Reeves; grandchild, Shira Guth; sister, Terry R. Randolph; and brother, Theodore L. Reeves.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond on Thursday from 2 PM until time of the memorial service at 4 PM with Pastor Carol Smith officiating.
