Daniel Lee Pizzoferrato, age 72 died Monday evening, April 10th, 2017, at his home, in the company of his children.
He was born November 7th, 1944 in Steubenville and retired proudly from Weir-Cove (1967-1997) after 30 years as a semi-truck driver. He was a gun enthusiast; he loved motorcycles, the outdoors and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret (DeLeonardis) Pizzoferrato, his beloved wife Edith (Dianne) Millhorn (Married May 7th, 1965); brother, John Pizzoferrato; sister, Gloria Dayton; and granddaughter, Mahala Pizzoferrato.
Survivors include one son and two daughters, Dan L. (Jennifer) Pizzoferrato of Ashtabula, Debbie L (John) Calhoun of Wintersville, Danyal Pizzoferrato of Smithfield; and ten grandchildren; Nicollette and Dani Jai Pizzoferrato, Kristyn, Sean and Anna Moore, Gage, Cole, Hope and Gunner Calhoun, and Timothy Pizzoferrato.
A private graveside service for Dan will be held at a later date.
