My deep condolences to the family and friends of Harlan. In your time of mourning, I'd like to share some comforting thoughts from the scriptures. The Bible speaks of a time when there will be no more death or suffering. I have found comfort in the words recorded at Revelation 21:4 where it says, "And he will wipe every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." I also find the words recorded at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 reassuring, it reads, "Praised be the God and father of our lord Jesus Christ, the father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." I hope you can lean on God to give you comfort in your time of need.

I met Harlan at the Nazarene Church here in Mesa Az. He had a wonderful heart for the Lord. He soon moved to the Resort Park in which I lived. He was energized by all the action and people that surrounded him. He became my father’s buddy, playing hours of rummykub. Harlan always had a smile to share and many lovely stories about his past, I enjoyed listening to his life experiences. His giggle always made me laugh! A gentle spirit with a heart filled with love and the Joy of Christ. I have been blessed to know Harlan. I think he taught me how important just hanging out and enjoying fellowship was. He would tell me he was ready to be with the Lord anytime , he would say he was living on overtime on this Earth. I hope the family can remember his devotion to all of them. He so loved his kids! He will be truly missed around Carriage Manor.
My heart was touched by this special Man of God. My sincere condolences, Ramona, Ken & old Joe
