Kathleen L. McDannels

Kathleen L. McDannels, 93, of Annapolis, OH, passed away June 24, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.  

She was born January 21, 1924 in Beverly, WV, a daughter of the late Sterl and Zella (Bender) Louk.  

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Junior McDannels; son, Thomas Paul McDannels; son-in-law, Nevin L. Miser, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Sue McDannels; three brothers, Harrison, Clair, and Roy; sister, Christine Weese; and grandson, Jeff.  

Kathleen served her country in the United States Army during WWII.  

She was a member of the East Springfield Church of the Cross, Women's Club, and choir.   

Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Shirley Miser of Bloomingdale, OH and Margaret (David) Cline of Annapolis, OH; grandchildren, Lisa, Roy, Leslie, Lee, and Brian; many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.   

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond and again on Wednesday from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM with Pastor Robert Welch officiating.  

Burial will follow at East Springfield Cemetery with full Military Honors.
