Kenny Jones

William Kenny Jones, 89, of Wintersville, OH, passed away May 29, 2017 at UPMC Montefiore, Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born December 26, 1927 in Bethany, WV, a son of the late Roy and Martha (Malloy) Jones.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Maxine Custer Jones; second wife, Virginia Tantlinger Bigler Jones; sons, William Kenneth Jones II and James Jones; daughter, Kathy Hodge; brother, Wendell Jones; and step daughters.

Kenny was a member of Castlemans Run United Methodist Church, Bethany, WV and attended Wintersville Church of Christ.

He was a crane repairman for Weirton Steel for over 36 years.

Kenny enjoyed spending his time attending ball games, especially his grandchildren’s ball games.

He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Linda Jones; granddaughters, Mandy Jones (Luke Briningstool), Erica (Toby) Hudson, and Jessica Hodge; great grandchildren, Carter Boone, Brody, Colette, and Lyla Hudson; step children; grandchildren; and great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM with Ron Vanderborne officiating.

Burial will follow at Bloomingdale Cemetery.
