Leona Maxine Cline Grimm Call, 90, of Richmond, OH, passed away May 26, 2017 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale, OH. 

She was born July 26, 1926 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Lester Ray and Monica (Arabella) Cline. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Howard E. Grimm, second husband, Kenneth E. Grimm, and third husband, Richard F. Call; step-son, Richard Gary Cruz; brother, Ray Eugene Cline; and step grandchildren, Ivy and Kelly Smolinski.  

Leona was in the first full four year graduating class from Jefferson Union. 

Leona was a member of the Wintersville Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday School, Bible School, and was a Steward.  

During WWII, she worked for the Ration Board. Throughout her life she worked for DiNovo Dodge, West End Motors, McConnell's Meat Market, and Montgomery Ward. 

She was involved in the Homemaker's Club and enjoyed farming and canning.  

Leona is survived by her children, Monica (Larry) Moore of Richmond, OH, Ronald (Nancy) Grimm of Virginia Beach, VA, Roxie (Tom) Carothers of Richmond, OH, Beverly (Jim) Smith of Johnstown, OH, and Rick (Penny) Call of Richmond, OH; step daughter, Angel Bobin; brother Darl (Cheryl) Cline of Amsterdam, OH; sister-in-law, Margaret Cline; 11 grandchildren, Shauna Moore, Jeremy Moore, Sharon (Keith) Kohler, Kevin (Jenn) Grimm, Amy (BJ) Meyer, Michael (Nancy) Nelson, Bryan (Jeri) Nelson, Lisa (Shaun) Shell, Josh (Meg) Smith, Ryan (Brandy) Smith, and Dustin Call; step-grandson, Michael Carothers; 18 great grandchildren; and 11 step great grandchildren. 

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Monday from 6-8 PM. 

Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday at the Wintersville Church of the Nazarene from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM with Pastor Delbert Lash officiating. 

Burial will follow at Richmond Union Cemetery.
