Bill and I want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, Tom was a special person and will be missed by all who knew him. I remember all the cantatas and how much he was there to keep me going. Sorry that I can't be there for you but I am not out yet, Hope to see you soon. We are here if you need anything. Dear Wanda, Becky, Janna, Tommy and all the family,
We were so sorry to hear about Tom, but we know that he is in Heaven with his Saviour, serenaded by angels up to the Throne. We pray that you will feel the comfort that only God can give at this time.
We have so many memories through so many years of knowing you all at your house or my parents, then at our house in New Jersey and then in Beechwood. He will truly be missed! He is now in Heaven with my Dad, Mom, and so many wonderful Christians that we all knew!

This is Shelby (Bill's Granddaughter) from 113 Beechwood. I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but I rejoice knowing that Tom is with our Lord! He made everyone around him smile and was fun to be around. I always had fun sitting on that swing (and getting to play with little Freddy when he'd come over...he's probably grown a lot since those summers). My heart goes out to you all...
I wish it hasn't been so long since I've been home!

All of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May there be comfort in knowing that someone as special as Grandpa Firm will never be forgotten. He was a wonderful man, who made everyone in his presence feel loved. I consider myself among the fortunate ones to know him, and have many memories that I will always cherished in my heart.

Our hearts are heavy with sorrow at this time, thinking of all of you. I loved Tom as well as Wanda and the family, as we go back a long long time.
However we sorrow not as others with no hope. We are so thankful Tom is no longer suffering as the state he was in is not the dear Tom we once knew. He is at home with his Saviour and so many friends and relatives. Will be thinking of you during these next few days, Sonny has to work all weekend, or I would have loved to come over. You all are so dear to me. Keep looking up the shout won't be long now! I know you all will miss him, its only natural. Love to all the family,

My thoughts & prayers go out to all of Pappy Tom's family & friends. He truly was one of the most kindest & sweetest men there ever will be and as he would say with the biggest hands also..I can't count how many times he would compare our hand sizes :) He will always be missed & never forgotten.

Rich and I extend our deepest sympathy in the loss of your father and loving husband. In the short time that I have known your father,he truley was a special person to all that knew him. He will be missed l as he passes ahead to wait for his family. You will always have the memories and his love that only a father and husband can give. Grandpa Firm was a very special person. He took our family under his wing. He so loved our grandchildren as much as his own. Freddy, Cole, Maddy, and Wesley. Thank you for sharing him with our family. We have many happy memories of birthday parties, picnics, and vacations. He is in a beautiful home now. Love, John and Suzanne and family.
