Constance Lindstamer Obituary

Constance Lu Richardson-Lindstamer, 91, was called home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2024. She was born on September 6, 1932, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and lived with Clarence “Okey” and Mabel Richardson who she called mom and dad.

“Connie” as she was known, graduated from Orange High School in 1950 and then served her country in the Navy for which she was very proud.

After raising her family, she has several published writings, one being her book, I’m Glad We’re Us.

During the 1980’s, Connie and her husband were involved in mission work with the church called Operation Housetop, where they traveled throughout the country offering free brief Christian Service Announcements to local television stations to air. They were always welcomed to stay at any church camp where their travels took them. They stayed at the Christian Camp of the Living Word in Point Texas and while they were there, the camp was in need of a caretaker, so they stayed and served the Lord in that capacity for several years before returning to Ohio to retire.

You could see Connie on election day as she “worked the polls” and felt a connection to her community where she lived.

She was a member of the Christian Church and most recently attended Crossroads Christian Church in Wintersville, Ohio. She was a Christian influence to all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Linda Susan Miller, and her husband of 57 years, Robert Kenneth Lindstamer.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Marker of Bloomingdale, Ohio, Michael Lindstamer (Yun He) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Laura Dix (Brian) of Sylacauga, Alabama, and Bryan Lindstamer (Terresa) of Lakeland, Florida, along with 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Friends and family may call for visitation at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 6-8 P.M. A service will be held the following day, Friday, April 19, 2024, at the funeral home at 11 A.M. with Pastor Tim Groos officiating.
