Ronald Ray Rhodes Sr

Ronald Ray Rhodes Sr., 82, of Bergholz, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Gables Care Center. He was born April 2, 1942 in Ross Twp., Ohio a son of the late Howard and Estella (Landis) Rhodes. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy (Peoples) Rhodes; two, daughters, Louis Ann Rhodes and Deborah Brown; three brothers, Everett, Paul, and Edgar Rhodes. Ron was a member of New Rumley Methodist Church.

Ron is survived by a son, Ronald “Rudy” Rhodes Jr.; two daughters, Pat Simpson and Missy  Rhodes; brother, Raymond Rhodes; sister, Gerladine Orwick; grandchildren, Shawna (Marc) Minella, Tonya (Matt) Salvini, Roger Lee (Lindsay) Hale, Beth (Bryan) Hastings, David Hale, Ronald (Leeanna) Rhodes, Becky (Jordan) White, Dylan Rhodes; 17 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Additional visitation on Thursday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM.
