Betty Marie Pesta

Betty Marie Pesta, 89, of Wintersville, OH, passed away November 19, 2017 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville.

She was born December 3, 1927 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Howard and Floy Dean (Earley) Jones.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, John E. Pesta, Sr.; son, Joseph Brian Pesta; daughter, Judith Schrader; and brother, Roy Jones.

Betty was past president of Wintersville Friendship Club and a member of the Democratic Club.

She is survived by her sons, John Jr. of Wintersville, Frank of Iowa, Steven (Susan) of Unionport, and Jeffrey (Merrilee) Pesta of Wintersville; daughters, Patricia Wentworth of Westerville, and Amy (Ron) Reasoner of Bergholz; 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; brother, Howard Jones of San Diego; and sisters, Selma Thomas of Wintersville, Susie Flaherty of Mingo Jct., and Doris Plotts of Bloomingdale.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jeremy Kuttler officiating.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
