Clyde R. Beebe, 96, of Toronto, OH, passed away July 20, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born October 12, 1922 in Bridgeport, OH, a son of the late Frank and Mary Alice (Kerr) Beebe.
In addition to his parents, Clyde is the last of 13 siblings.
Clyde served his country in the United States Army Air Force during WWII.
He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel.
Clyde and his wife dedicated their life to the Wintersville Baptist Temple, serving the bus ministry, building the church and school, and Clyde served as a deacon.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Marjorie (McConnell) Beebe; children, Cheri (Fred) Medley, Linda (Denny) Hout, Keith (Karen) Beebe, Joyce (Kenny) Fenske, Doug (Tammy) Beebe, Jerri Sue Beebe, Gary (Kim) Beebe, Brian (Charla) Beebe, and JoAnne (Steve) Coop; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Monday from 6-8 PM.
Additional visitation will be held at the Wintersville Baptist Church on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM with Pastor Troy Thacker officiating.
Private burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville with full military honors.
