Dearest Papaw ❤ I will always hold tight to the Amazing memories I was so very BLESSED to have grown up with 🌠 with you in my life. From my endless chats in the car as we went on rides or on the lake with your boat, to our planting of the perfect strawberries we would sneak once they grew before Mamaw made the rest into her Amazing Jam. I always loved running into your room when we come to Ohio from over seas & jumping onto your bed. Cheek to cheek watching the awesome Pittsburgh Steelers 🏈 while you played your harmonica. 🎶 during commercial breaks ❤ You are the most WONDERFUL LOVING Man I'VE ever know. I am so glad you absolutely loved your Red Lobster hat, glasses , stuffed lobster & gift cards i got you last Christmas i cried when you called with the sheer joy in your voice when you opened them all ❤ Please Give My Mom & Mamaw a hug & kiss from Me & sending you one too!!! FOREVER LOVING YOU. ❤❤❤❤ To ALL our family & your friends DEEPEST of SYMPATHIES 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

I'll sure miss my papaw! He was the hardest working man I've known and had the kindest heart! Always will remember all the times with him and mamaw, whether it was in the workshop, going into the garden, hearing the talk of crossword searching .. or just hearing his awesome stories.. I sure love you papaw!!!

An A GARDEN PATH was sent on August 1, 2017

To Paps with love from your "other daughter." I know you are dancing in heaven with Anna and Sharon. We will all be together again someday. In the meantime, we'll be missing your wisdom, your wit, your cute smile, and easy country manner. With sympathy to family and friends. Freda Chaney

Unc will be very much missed. He was always there and ready to help whenever he was needed. He was fortunate to have his children with him in his final days.
