James Snider

James Richard Snider, 87, of Hopedale, OH, went home to be with his Blessed Lord April 23, 2018.

He was born December 10, 1930 in Cleveland, OH, a son of the late William Snider and Vivian Hargest. He was raised by the late William and Nancy Snider.

James is preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Livingstone; brother, Ted Snider; half-sisters, Grace Robertson, Peggy Carneigie, and Marion Schneider; half-brother, Howard Harris.

He served his country in the United States Navy.

He was a faithful member of the Gospel Hall Christians Gathered to the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for 63 years.

James leaves behind his beloved wife, of 65 years, Laura B. Snider and three children, Mark (Molly) Snider of Cadiz, OH, Rhonda Wood of Mansfield, OH, and Brenda Laibach of Cadiz, OH; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; half-sister, Lois Ricciardulli of California; half-brothers, Wm. Harris of Pittsburgh, PA and Robert Hargest of Burgettstown, PA.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM.

Entombment will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
