Laura A. Rhine

Laura A. Rhine, 85, of Steubenville, OH, passed away March 24, 2018 at Sienna Skilled Care, Wintersville.

She was born August 10, 1932 in Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late Douglas and Thelma (Davis) LeVelle.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Rhine, Sr.; grandson, Rickie Polen, Jr.; and brother, Douglas LeVelle, Jr.

Laura was a member of the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church, Bell Chapel United Methodist Women, and Busy Needles.

She is survived by her children, John (Sonja) Rhine, Jr. of Toronto, OH, Joy (Rick) Polen of Steubenville, OH, Connie (Craig) Hoobler of Steubenville, OH, and Sally (Mike) Toth of Reynoldsburg, OH; grandchildren, Jason Rhine, Jerrod Rhine, Lewis Polen, Denny Hoobler, Joshua Hoobler, Bradley Toth, and Zachary Toth; 10 great great children and one on the way.

Friends will be received on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville from 4-8 PM.

Additional visitation will be held at the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church, 3419 St. Rt. 213, Steubenville, OH on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 11 am until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Proya officiating.

Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Steubenville, OH.
