Ray “D” Morrison, 77, of Richmond, OH, passed away September 13, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Dee was born November 19, 1941 in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Ray and Bette (Stouffer) Morrison.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Buddy and Terry Morrison.
Dee served his country in the United States Marines.
He retired from Weirton Steel with 35 years of service as a locomotive engineer and trucking department. After retirement, he owned and operated his own 18-wheeler all over the country, which he loved.
He will be remembered by his much loved wife, Janet of 54 years; sons, Greg (Paula) Morrison and Darren (Jennifer) Morrison; daughters, Rhonda (Steve) Snyder and Kelly (Brian) Householder; grandchildren, Karlee Hanchin, Brianna Householder, and Lucas Morrison; and great-granddaughter, Vivian Hanchin; brothers, David (Evelyn) McMaster, Cecil (Cindy) Morrison, and Don (Maria) Morrison; sister, Melanie (Ed) Barnhardt and Kim (Garry) Rudd; numerous nieces and nephews; his dog, Rufus and four cats.
A private viewing will be held for the family.
Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates with full Military Honors.
