Ronald L. Tingler, 79 of Bloomingdale, went to his Heavenly home on May 1, 2019 after a short illness.
Born January 6, 1940 to the late Floyd and Ina Tingler of Follansbee, he was a lifetime resident of the area. Owner of Tingler Plumbing and former plumbing inspector for the City of Steubenville, Ronás dedication to his craft and strong work ethics kept him working well into his 70s.
Often he made lifelong friends of customers. He enjoyed his church, classic car clubs, fishing, traveling and gathering with friends for coffee. His positive, outgoing personality quickly turned strangers into friends.
Ron is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy of whom he was was married to nearly 60 years and his siblings, Robert Tingler and Cheryl Loy. He is survived by his children, Lisa (Rudi) Noer, Scott Tingler and Marci (Eric) Daugherty and two sisters, Dolly OáHara and Patty Marietti. Also by his cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Anisah and Hannan, and great-grandchildren Cameron, Braylee, Fiona and Kenneth.
He will be joyously remembered for his devotion to family and friends. As a man of faith, his kind, warm heart was an inspiration to all.
The family will be celebrating his life privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Teramana Cancer Center whose staff tended so lovingly to his wife Nancy.
