Shirley L Miser

Shirley L. (McDannels) Miser, 68, of Annapolis, OH, passed away July 6, 2017 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville.

She was born October 12, 1948 in Wintersville, OH, a daughter of the late Roy J. and Kathleen (Louk) McDannels.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Nevin Lee Miser, Sr.; brother, Tom McDannels; and sister-in-law, Sue McDannels.

Shirley was a member of the Unionport Christian Church. She worked as a dietary aide for Carriage Inn of Steubenville.

She enjoyed crocheting and listening to country music.

Shirley is survived by her children, Nevin Lee Miser, Jr. of Annapolis and Roy Arthur Miser of Annapolis; sister, Margaret (David) Cline; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Walter Dean (Ruth) Miser of Kilgore, OH; grandchildren, Clarence Westley, Tessa Faye, and Kenneth James; many great grandchildren; niece, Sherry Miser; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Monday from 3-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond and again on Tuesday from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM with Pastor Robert Welch officiating. 

Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery.
