Richard D. "Rick" McCoy, 57, of Richmond, OH, passed away August 27, 2018 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.

He was born April 9, 1961 in Erie, PA, a son of the late Richard I. and Doris Jean (Buchanan) McCoy.

Rick graduated in 1979 from Springfield High School. He was a certified STNA for 28 years.

Rick loved Ohio State Football and was an avid Civil War memorabilia collector.

He is survived by his wife Angel (Kish) McCoy; son, Adam Elder who faithfully took care of his dad; brother, Tim (Mary) McCoy; sisters, Nancy (Tom) Culp, Debbie Cross, and Kathie (Ron) Long.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Thursday from 5 until time of funeral services at 7:30 PM with Pastor Dave Miller officiating.
