Obituary

Albert "Glenn" Leas, 83 of Annapolis, Ohio passed away Friday, February 06, 2009 in Acuity Specialty Care, Steubenville. Glenn was born August 6, 1925 in Annapolis, Ohio, a son of the late William A. and Mary Hanlin Leas. He graduated from Amsterdam High School class of 1944 and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy in WWII. Glenn was owner and operator of Leas Garage in Annapolis until his retirement. He was a member of Annapolis United Presbyterian Church, Wintersville American Legion, Unionport K of P Lodge, Kaiser-Frazer Owners Club. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Jane (Henthorne) Leas whom he married July 2, 1946; two sons, William and Phyllis Leas and Rodney and Jo Ellen Leas both of Annapolis; 4 grandchildren Christopher and Kari Leas of Pickerington, OH, Darrin and Christina Leas of Annapolis, OH, Jennifer and Shane Lee of Chandler, AZ, Travis and Melissa Booth of Annapolis, OH. 7 great-grandchildren and special cousin Bob Leas. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond on Sunday from 1-5 PM. Family Funeral Services will be private and burial will take place at Leas Cemetery.
