Alfred A. Prokop Sr., 83, of Steubenville passed away peacefully on July 24, 2022. Alfred retried from the Local 809 after over 30 years of service and enjoyed long drives, fishing and a good old Western movie. He will be dearly missed and always remembered. Alfred was preceded in death by his loving wife Judy, Father, Mike Prokop; Mother ,Helen (Ziarko) Prokop; brothers Howard and Mike; sisters, Martha, Irene and Nellie, and dog Gizmo. He is survived by his children, Judy (Wayne) Ruckman, Andy Prokop, and John (Jaime) Prokop as well as his grandchildren, Chelsea (Terry) Wedlake, John Prokop, Maria (Audrey) Verhovec, and Renee Ruckman, sisters, Cathy Monigold and Theresa Wonders, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Chuggy. Service and burial will be at Mt. Calvary Chapel Mount Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville at 1pm on Monday August 1, 2022 at 1 pm.
