Alice "Babs" M. Ferguson, 74, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.

She was born September 17, 1938 in Brilliant, Ohio, a daughter of the late Wilbur Warren and Marian (Everson) Weber.

Babs was a member of the Wintersville United Methodist Church. She taught Sunday school at the Richmond United Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed volunteering her time for Vacation Bible school.

She retired from Ohio Valley Hospital where she worked as a RN. Babs worked for Indian Creek School District as a school bus driver aide with Mike Kuester.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Ferguson who she married on September 19, 1959; son, Tim Ferguson of Arlington, VA; daughter, Cindy (Larry) Persina of Wintersville, OH; brother, Bill (Brenda) Weber of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Kayla and Kelsey Pool; and step grandchildren, Dan and Kimberlyn Persina.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM with Pastor Clint Quillen officiating.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates.
