ALICE M. PATRICK, 87, of Richmond, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 31, 2006 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, following a lingering illness. She and her late husband, Bob, had operated the old Western Auto Store in Mingo Jct. in the sixties closing in 1966. She was a homemaker and active member of the Richmond United Presbyterian Church and the Women's Association of the church. She was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Unionport Chapter #360 where she had served as secretary for 10 years. Alice was born February 24, 1919 in Hindsford, County Lancashire, England, a daughter of the late Charles T. and Margaret (Wakefield) Edwards. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Patrick, Sr. whom she married June 26, 1943 and who died September 21, 1994, and by a sister, Margaret Sellars and 2 brothers, Thomas and Clifford. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Alice Patrick of Richmond, a son, Robert E. Patrick, Jr. of Wintersville, a grandson, Christopher and his wife Christina and their daughter Kayla and a granddaughter, Sarah Patrick Taylor, and one brother, Charles Edwards and his wife Norma of Wintersville. Visitation for Alice will be from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Sunday at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St,. Richmond with Order of Eastern Star Services at 6:45 PM. Then on Monday, September 4, 2006, there will be funeral services at 11 AM at the Richmond United Presbyterian Church with one hour of visitation from 10 AM until time of services. The Reverend John Hearn will officiate and burial will be in Richmond Union Cemetery.
