ALTA F. MILLER, 94, of Bergholz, OH, passed away Friday, January 18, 2008 in Golden Age Retreat, Carrollton. She was a retired farmer, having been in a farming partnership with her brother, Ford. She was a member of the Bergholz United Methodist Church but attended the Bergholz Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #315. She was born May 25, 1913, outside Bergholz in Springfield Twp, a son of the late Fred W. and Laura B. (Miller) Miller who both passed away in 1943. She is also predeceased by two brothers, John in 1983 and Ford who died April 8, 2007, and a sister, Flora Betty George. Visitation for Alta will be at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz, Monday, January 21, 2008 from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM with the Reverends David Miller and Alan Jeffries officiating.
