Obituary
Argel "Bud" Oldaker, Jr., 86, of East Springfield, OH passed away April 23, 2016 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.
He was born October 17, 1929 in Clarksburg, WV, a son of the late Argel C. and Nellie (Whitehead) Oldaker.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Nellie A. (Vinburg) Oldaker who he married on July 27, 1948 and passed away March 28, 2003.
He retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as a zinc line operator and was brought back by the company as a consultant; he officially retired in 1983 after 35 years of service.
Argel is survived by his sons, Patrick (Kay) Oldaker of Bergholz and Michael (Joni) Oldaker of East Springfield; daughters, Susan (David) Maple of East Springfield, Cathy (George) Cheripko of East Springfield, and Darlene (Howard) Hennis of East Springfield; sister, Marlene Ferguson of Wintersville; brother-in-law, Robert (Joyce) Vinburg of Wintersville; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond where Services of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM.
Burial will follow at Island Creek Cemetery, Toronto, OH.
