Arley L. Peyton, 82, of Wintersville, OH, passed away July 27, 2020 at Allegheny Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born June 21, 1938 in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late George E. and Josephine (Macklin) Peyton.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by an infant brother.

He was an active member of the Wintersville United Methodist Church, where he was a former trustee and sang in the choir.  Arley was a Boy Scout leader of Pack 115 and Scout Master of Troop 12.

He was a former employee of Spahn's and Modern Dairies where he serviced the Ohio Valley Region.

Arley retired from Indian Creek School District after 22 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Doris (Peregoy) Peyton; children, Jenifer (Robert) Bane of Wintersville, Scott Peyton of Wintersville, and Noel (Crystal) Peyton of NC; grandchildren, Aaron Bane, Ryan (Caitlyn) Bane, Jessica (Andrew) Smith, Sarah Bane, Zeke Peyton, and Abby Peyton; and great grandchildren, Zoey Smith and Addy Bane.

Private family services will be held and burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for friends.
