ARLIE F. LOWE, 79, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009 in Acuity Specialty Hospital, Trinity East, Steubenville following a lengthy illness. He was born August 31, 1930 in Hundred WV, a son of the late Franklin A. and Edna Church Lowe. He is also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emily Hartline, 5 brothers, Warren, Blaine, Harold, Bobby and Raymond and a sister, Norma Lee Brandt. He was a retired die setter at the Eagle Mfg. plant in Wellsburg, a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on St. Rt. 213 and a US Army Veteran. He married Shirley Richards January 21, 1956 who survives. He is also survived by three daughters, Donna (Mike) Hennis and Sandie (Paul) Mullins, both of Toronto and Brenda (Carl) Hartline of Steubenville; by 4 grandchildren, Brian Lowe, Greg Keenan, Jason Dubal and Carly Hartline and 10 great grandchildren; by a brother, Vaughn Lowe of Follansbee, WV and sisters-in-law, Rita Lowe of Uniontown, OH and Arlene Lowe of Watertown, NY. Visitation for Arlie will be Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on St. Rt. 213. Funeral services will be held at the church on Monday at 11 AM with Pastor Tommy Mills. Burial will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond.
