Obituary

Arnold W. Wright, 75 of Carrollton, formerly of Amsterdam, passed away Friday, September 29, 2006 at Aultman Hospital in Canton. He was a retired line operator at Weirton Steel and was a Marine veteran of the Korean War. Arnold loved hunting, fishing, and shooting pool. He bowled at Garson Lanes in Amsterdam for the Industrial League and the Twilight League. He golfed at Spring Hills Golf Club in East Springfield for the Moose League and Carroll Meadows Golf Course in Carrollton for the Senior League. Arnold was born February 22, 1931 in Everson, WV, a son of the late Nathan Ray and Eva Leona (Melton) Wright, Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Emogene (Baker) Wright, a daughter Janet Stewart, grandchild Christine Nicole Wright, sister Ruby Barr, four brothers Nathan Jr., Joseph, George, and Billie Wright. He is survived by three sons, Marty Dean Wright of Amsterdam, Brian Keith Wright and Darcelle Williams of Carrollton, and Christopher Ryan (Kelly) Wright of Steubenville. One daughter, Brenda (John) Frazier of Massillon. One sister, Ruth Marie Maine of New Cumberland, WV. Nine grandchildren Ryan, Justin, and Jeremy Stewart, Joshua and Aaron Wright, Craig, Lindsay ,and Jordan Wright, and Michael Ryan Wright. Three great-grandchildren Sadie, Cameron,and Jadyn. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond on Monday from 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 1 PM with Rev.
