Audrey Jean Dewess, 73, of Steubenville, OH, passed away April 10, 2017 at her son's home surrounded by her family.

She was born June 6, 1943 in Smithfield, OH, a daughter of the late Donald D. and Sarah Elizabeth (Allen) Jackson.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Carmichael.

Audrey was Methodist by faith.

She owned and operated Audrey's Hilltop Diner.

Audrey is survived by her children, Audrey Wilson of Weirton, Donna Dewess of NC, Deborah (David) Russell of Steubenville, Donald (Christina) Dewess of Steubenville, Pamela Mills of Toronto, and Michael Mills of Amsterdam; brother, Neal (Mary) Jackson; 26 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Thursday from 12 Noon until time of funeral services at 2 PM with Pastor Bill Westling officiating.

Burial will follow at Island Creek Cemetery, Toronto, OH.
