Barbara J. Freeman, 61, of Bergholz, OH, passed away October 9, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born February 28, 1956 in Bergholz, OH, a daughter of Mary Lou (Whetzel) Maple of Bergholz, OH. Barbara was always helping others and will be missed by all who knew her.  She was Methodist by faith.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Leslie James Maple.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband of 42 years, Timothy James Freeman of Bergholz; daughters, Danielle Renee (Chris Noto) Powell of Las Vegas, NV and Carissa Freeman of Bergholz; grandson, Jackson Powell of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Robert Dale (Donna) Maple, Jr. of Carrollton, Valiant Lee (Rose) Maple of Wellsville, Richard Samuel (Sharon) Maple of Byesville, OH, and Bennett Keith Maple of Bergholz; sisters, Susan Renee (Danny) Koterba of Bergholz and Martha Marlene Workman of Bergholz; several nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends; and the family pet, Reese.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz on Thursday from 2 p.m. until time of funeral services at 6 p.m. with Pastor Dave Miller officiating.
