Barbara E. Owens Logan, 50, of Steubenville, OH passed away December 12, 2013 after a brief illness at Dixon Health Care Center, Wintersville.

She was born April 5, 1963 a daughter of Kathleen S. Owens and the late Max L. Owens.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her only child, Martha Logan Dear.

Barbara is survived by her mother, Kathleen of Wintersville; sister, Ilore (Keith) Wilson of Wintersville; two grandchildren, Victoria and Terry Dear, Jr. of Toronto, Ohio; and her son-in-law Terry Dear, Sr. of Toronto, OH.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd. on Monday from 2 PM until time of funeral services at 4 PM with the Reverend Ashley Steele officiating.

Burial will be private at a later date.

The family extends appreciation to the Dixon Health Center and Valley Hospice for their kindnesses.
