Beatrice Parkison, 78, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 16, 2012 from an extended illness.

She was born July 10, 1933 in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Earl and Opal (Frye) Hamilton.

Beatrice was former owner of Green Acres Tavern for 30 years. She was a homemaker and a dedicated caregiver for her mother after retirement.

She is survived by two daughters, Cathy (Chris) Land of Warrenton, Georgia and Ramona (Tom) Yeager of Richmond, Ohio; grandchildren, Josh and Kelsey Yeager; and great-granddaughter, Keirra Thompson.

Visitation will be held at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, on Tuesday March 20, 2012 at 11 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates.
