Sarah R. "Becky" Jones, 84, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away Monday, May 17th, 2010 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville. Becky is the daughter of the late E.R. "Bob" and Mary F. Donaldson Vermillion. She was also preceded in death by infant children, Coleen and Michael Jones and son, Bill Milhoan; and two brothers, James and Edward Vermillion. Becky was an active member of the Richmond United Methodist Church, UMW and the Richmond Lioness Club where she served in many capacities. She served as clerk for the Richmond Board of Public Affairs for many years. For 50 years she helped to organize and supported the annual Memorial Day parade and wore her Red, White and Blue like a badge. Becky is survived by her husband of 52 years, Curtis "Bud" Jones whom she married on May 25, 1957, sons, John E. (Jeanette) Jones of Leadville, CO., and David L. (Camille) Jones of Toronto, OH, daughters, Hope Eimer (Ron Huggins) of Toronto, OH and Jennifer E. (Charles) Lawrence of McDonald, PA. and daughter-in-law Carolyn Milhoan of Irondale, OH. Becky is also survived by six grandchildren: Debbie Maple, Deanna (George) Russell, Bobbi (Kevin) Whisman, Jaime Jones, John (Jack) Jones and Andrew Jones, five step grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held Thursday, May 20th at 11 AM with the Reverend Carol Smith officiating.
