BERTHA (Hand Forsythe) LUTTON, 94, formerly of East Springfield, OH, passed away Monday, January 11, 2010 at the home of her daughter, Tracy Cline. She was born in Salt Run, OH, February 13, 1915, a daughter of the late Grover and Addie Elizabeth (Bell) Hand. She was a faithful servant of her Lord and was a member of the Wintersville Community Chapel, Wintersville. She first married Edwin Forsythe who died in 1967 and then married Clarence Lutton who died in 2004. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Wilma Forsythe, a step-daughter, Margery Syrus, a grandson, Jeffrey Crossley and two sisters, Clara Mayle and Viola Parks and a brother, Ralph Hand. She is survived by a son, Keith (Beverly) Forsythe of Hopedale, four daughters, Wanda (Victor) Cline, Steubenville, Tracy (Edward) Cline, Toronto, and Genevie (Ronald) Crossley, Steubenville, Margaret (Fred) Bailey, Hopedale, a step-son, Wayne (Sherry) Lutton, East Springfield, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday where funeral services for Bertha will be held at 11 AM Thursday with Pastor Delbert Lash officiating. Burial will be in New Alexandria Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested for Bertha's granddaughter, Debra Barcalow, who has been recently diagnosed with cancer.
