Betty R. Kavanagh, 82, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away on November 19, 2025. She was born on December 31, 1942, in Logan, WV, to the late Sonny and Zelda Gore. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Kavanagh Sr.; and her siblings, Joe and Louann Gore.

Betty was a longtime member of the Women's Auxiliary and the American Legion Post 557.

She is survived by her children, Stanley (Amy) Kavanagh Jr., Debbie Kavanagh, and Kim (Bob) Miser; her brother, Jim Gore; her sisters, Mary Ellen Gore, Flossie Southworth, and Marie Lester; her grandchildren, Tracey Chapman, Tera Bradley, Tommy Bradley, Cortney Kavanagh, and Heather Cholewinski; and her great grandchildren, Brayden Chapman, Everlee Chapman, and Addelynn Bradley.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Valley Hospice for all of their care and compassion during this difficult time.

In honor of Betty's wishes, there will be no services held.
