Betty Jean (Sayre) Mozingo, 78, formerly of Wellsburg, WV, passed away August 8, 2013 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville.

She was born April 5, 1935 in Wellsburg, WV, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Eleanor (Lafollette) Sayre.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by son-in-law, Jeff Lauttamus, Sr.; granddaughter, Amy Kuhn; and her companion of 35 years, Henry Georgetti.

We are going to miss her laugh. After 30 plus years battling Multiple Sclerosis she still had that zeal for living, inspiring her family and friends to live happy.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Hallie (Tim) Dew of Toronto, OH and Suzy (Dave) Hawthorne of Weirton, WV; sister, Marion Lee "Dudie" (Eugene "Beef") Lamone; grandchildren, Kristy (Jeff) Dobson, Chad "Billy" (Brittany) Kuhn, Jeff (Brianna) Lauttamus, Jr., and Stephanie Lauttamus; 5 great grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home's EBCare service.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
