BLAINE C. MYERS, 81, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008 at the Dixon Nursing Home, Wintersville, following a lengthy illness. He was born August 5, 1926 in Harrisburg, PA, a son of the late Charles and Bessie (Seylor) Myers. He is also preceded in death by his two brothers, Clarence and Richard Myers and 3 sisters, Bertha Miller, Mildred Galbreith and Jean Rhoades. He was a clerk at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel retiring in 1981; a WW II veteran of the US Army and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Reva (Larch) Myers, by two sons, Jack C. (Penny) Myers of Mingo Jct. and Tim Myers of Richmond; by two daughters, Cynthia (Mark) Blackburn of Hopedale and Carolyn (Ray) Yeager of Carmel, IN; by 8 grandchildren, Brent and Jason Myers, Christina, Lauren and Jennifer Yeager; Amanda Myers, Josh and Nichole Blackburn and Darcey Quinn and by 5 great-grandchildren, Collin Yeager, Cody and Hunter Myers, Jacob Blackburn and Caleb West and by a brother, Frank (Martha) Myers of Alliance, OH. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond, Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday with Pastor Bill Westling officiating.
