First Sargent Brent Charles Myers, 45, of Anchorage, AK, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at his home.

He was born April 29, 1972 in San Diego, CA.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Blaine Myers and Robert Blake.

Brent selflessly served in the United States Army for 20 years as an Airborne Ranger retiring in August 2011.

He loved to hunt, fish and rock climb with his family and friends. Brent's family and the military was the most important things to him. He was full of life and touched many people in a very special way.

Brent is survived by his wife of 24 years, Amy (Anderson) Myers; sons, Cody and Hunter Myers; mother, Cathy Blake; father, John C. (Penny) Myers; brother, Jason Myers, grandmothers, Reva Myers and Donna Blake; step-brother, Michael Loggie; uncles, John, Edward, and Todd Blake, Edward Eisnaugle, and Tim Myers; aunts,  Nancy Hanlin, Nancy Jo Blake, Wendy (Blake) Byers, Carolyn Yeager, and Cindy Blackburn. He also had many other aunts, uncles, cousins and an exhaustive list of military family who loved him deeply.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Monday from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 2 PM.
