Carl Eugene Hughes, 86, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away on October 14, 2025. He was born on September 25, 1939, in East Liverpool, Ohio.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Shirley (Wallace) Hughes; his son, Bryan (Wendy) Hughes; his daughter, Belinda (Eric) Anderson; his brothers, Odis L. Hughes and James B. Taylor; his sister, Deana L. Nadeau; his grandchildren, Garrett, Josh, Dana, Kelli, Jon, and Julia; his great granddaughter, Lucy, and soon to be great grandson, Felix.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 11 A.M. until time of services at 1 P.M. with Pastor Heath Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates.
