Catherine J. Saunders, 93, of East Springfield, Ohio, passed away on June 9, 2025. She was born on December 18, 1931, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Edward and Agnes Sprouse. In addition to her parents, Catherine is preceded in death by her loving husband, James A. Saunders.

Catherine was a faithful member of the Christ United Methodist Church in East Springfield for many years.

She is survived by her sons, Gregory (Ruth) Saunders and Michael (Sharon) Saunders; her daughters, Debbie (Charlie) Brown and Diane (Shawn) Wellington; her grandchildren, Bryan (Carrie) Robson, Stacy (Bobby) Westfall, Matthew Saunders, Kelly (Chris) Robinson, Julie (Gregory) Krejci, and Jake Saunders; and her great grandchildren, Brantley, Corbyn, Caden, Austin, Patrick, Violet, Larson, Arabella, Madison, Jackson, Charlotte, and Piper.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 10 A.M. until the time of services starting at 12 P.M. with Pastor Deborah Kellar officiating. Burial will follow at East Springfield Cemetery.
