Charles Robert "Bob" Champion, 89, of Bergholz, OH, passed away July 11, 2016 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.
He was born September 1, 1926, a son of the late Charles E. and Mary (Hackathorn) Champion.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Champion; son, Greg Champion; brother, Laverne Champion; and sisters, Margie Smith and Nancy Hahn.
Bob served his country in the United States Army during WWII.
He was Christian by faith.
Bob is survived by sons, Robert Champion of Malvern, OH and Todd Champion of Hopedale, OH; daughter, Cheryl Taylor of Dellroy, OH; brother, Delbert Champion; sister, Carol Boudler; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz on Thursday from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 2 PM with Pastor Dave Miller officiating.
Burial will follow at Bergholz Cemetery.
