Charles A. Forster, Sr., 79, of East Springfield , Ohio passed away June 23, 2011 in his home. He was born July 24, 1931 in Reading , PA , a son of the late Charles A. and Mildred Forster Chase.

In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by son, Louis Forster; grandchild, Stephanie Forster; great grandchild, Lily Forster; brothers, Gerald, Louis, and Carl Forster; step brother, Edwin Chase; sisters, Erma Dickerson and Jean Ann Dillion.

Charles served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Nancy M. Wright Forster; sons, Charles Albert Jr. (Bonnie) Forster of Quakerstown, PA, William (Cheryl) Forster of Richmond, and Scott (Lori) Forster of Amsterdam; daughters, Nadine Forster of Toronto, OH, and Melissa

(Andy) Kunsman of Houston, PA; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Forster; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, George and Richard Forster; sisters, Rose Ann Spayd and Patricia Hoover; step brother, Charles Chase; and step sisters, Ruth Roof and Shirley Chase.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St. , Richmond on Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Funeral Services Tuesday at 11 AM at the funeral home.
