Charles Eugene Hauber "chuck" was called home on Sunday November 21st at Twin City Hospital after declining health issues, he was 79 years old.

Born May 12th 1942 in Dennison Oh, Chuck was a army veteran as well as a long time member of the Scio post American Legion. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and farming his earlier years and prior to retiring from the coal mine he time with his family, sitting on his porch swing with his daughter Lori telling stories of his late wife, her mother. He also enjoyed spending time with all of his friends at the legion.

Chuck is survived by his daughter Lori (Jim) Roberts, son Todd (Rachelle) Hauber and daughter Mary (Brian) Dowdle Grandchildren Ashley and Jake Roberts Dylan O'Neill and Christian Dowdle as well as Great Grandchildren Jace, Mila, and Jaela. He is proceeded in death by his parents Steve and Mary Hauber , sister Helen Markley, daughter Sherri Hauber grand daughter Courtney O'Neill and beloved wife Betty Hauber.

Chuck will be missed by all who knew him.

As Chucks request there will be no services but the family plans to have a celebration of life. His passion was to donate every month to St. Judes children's hospital. People wishing to honor his memory could do so by making a donation in honor of chuck.
