Charles L. Higgins, 66, of Bergholz, OH, passed away September 8, 2016 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville.

He was born June 1, 1950 in Bergholz, OH, a son of Edith (Leake) Higgins and the late Charles Higgins.

In addition to his dad he is preceded in death by his sister, Betty Lou Conway.

Charles retired from Summitville Tile.

In addition to his mother, Edith, he is survived by his children, Jennifer (Ryan) Martin, Erin (Matt) Griffith, and Justin (Jennifer) Higgins; sister, Alice Faye Pickenpaugh; and grandchildren, Michael, Jacob, Brandon, Aydan, Natalie, Aubrey, and Blake.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz on Monday from 2-4 PM and 5 PM until time of funeral services at 7 PM with Pastor David Miller officiating.

Private burial will be held at Bergholz Cemetery.
