Charles "Chuck" W. McKee, 77, of Richmond, OH, passed away January 3, 2017 at Steubenville Country Club Manor.

He was born April 24, 1939 in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the late Charles Westley and Margaret Elizabeth (Walsh) McKee.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Marlene E. (Hopkins) McKee who passed away December 24, 2004; brother, Paul McKee; and sisters, Peggy Elborne and his twin, Mary Jo Masterson.

Chuck served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam, and after that served for the US Army Reserve.

Chuck was a member of the St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Richmond.

He was a welder by trade and worked for Ohio Coal and retired from East Manufacturing.

Chuck was a member of the Richmond American Legion #740 Honored Seven.

He is survived by his children, Chuck (Rai) McKee of Sun City, California, Kelly (Dale) Tice of Amsterdam, OH, Dawn (Scott) Stewart of Bergholz, OH, and Erik (Mechelle) McKee of Newark, OH; brother, William "Bill" (Chris) McKee of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren, Dustin McKee, Brittney McKee, Maysi McKee, Cullen McKee, Chad Stewart, and Taylir Stewart; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond on Friday from 4 PM until time of funeral services with Military Honors at 7 PM with Father John McCoy officiating.

Private burial will be held at Richmond Union Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Valley Hospice North nurses and aides that took such wonderful care of our father while he was in their care.
