Charles "Grudge" Ramsey, 87, of Annapolis, Ohio, passed away at Gables Care Center in Hopedale, Ohio.

Grudge was a son of the late Charles Wesley and Mildred (Hoover) Ramsey. He was born August 1, 1930 in Sleith, WV. He was a US Army veteran who served in Korea during the Korean War where he was awarded the Purple Heart.

He was a 42 year employee at Weirton Steel Corporation, working as a welder at the Tin Mill Department. He also taught welding at the Weirton Steel Training Center and the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School.

Grudge was a 50 year member of the #333 Masonic Lodge in Unionport, Ohio. He held a 32 degree in the Scottish Rite Chapter of Steubenville, Ohio. He was an avid mechanic and automobile restorer. He enjoyed camping, hunting, riding motorcycles into his eighties, and playing guitar.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Barbara Elnora, his brothers and sister James, Jean Skidmore, Robert, Perry, Ivan, Thomas, and Kenneth.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine of Richmond, OH; sons, Duane (Sheila) of Wintersville, OH and Ron (Becky) of Annapolis, OH; sister, Edna Ivanoff of Columbus, OH; four grandsons, Adam, Ben, Chad, and Nicholas; three great grandchildren, Wesley, Annalise, and Cooper; step children, Judy (Frank) Paree, James (Jan) Ramsey, and Rick (Wendy) Ramsey; and seven step grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 12-3 PM and 5-8 PM with Masonic Services at 7:30 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Hubert Granger officiating.

Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, OH.
