Obituary

CHARLES VERNON REESE, 83, of Richmond, OH, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 9, 2006. He was born in New Cumberland, WV March 11, 1923 and was the son of the late Pete and Emma (Babel) Reese. He died at Valley Hospice Pallative Care in Steubenville. He served in the Army in WWII and retired in 1985 from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh railroad gang. He was a member of the Two Ridge Presbyterian Church. He was welcomed into heaven by his parents, his son, Charles James Reese, and brother, Leslie "Lefty" Adams. Charles was a loving husband to his wife, Violet (Pletcher) Reese, whom he married July 27, 1946. They were married 60 years. He was a loving father to his daughter, Darian Marker and her husband, Danny, of Steubenville and daughter-in-law, Diane Reese of Bloomingdale. Charles was a loving and wonderful grandfather to Danny Marker II and his wife, Christina of Warren, OH, Lori Firm and her husband, Russ of Toronto, Angela Ely and her husband Scott of Colliers, and Tyler Reese of Bloomingdale. He loved his great-grandchildren, Corleena, Danny III, Christian, Ariauna, and Elizabeth Marker of Warren, Noah, Jacob and Isaac Firm of Toronto, and Madison and Zachary Ely of Colliers. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday with Pastor Tommy Mills and Rev.
