Charles (Chuck) Richardson, 91, passed away on May 9, 2026, at Serra Village Retirement Community of Weirton, WV. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on September 22, 1934, to Harry and Stella Richardson.
Chuck was baptized into Christ at the age of 25, as a member of the Church of Christ. He remained a faithful member of the church until his passing. He now resides with the Lord, whom he loved.
Chuck was a self-employed carpet installer for all of his working career. He enjoyed all sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. He was a life-long golfer.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta, in 2022, to whom he was married to for over 65 years. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Harry Richardson, his sister, Evelyn Snyder, his brother-in-law, Walter Buck, and his great grandson, James Matthew Jones.
Chuck is survived by his children, Roger (Brenda) Richardson of Amsterdam, Ohio, Charlotte (James) Muesegaes of Hohenwald, Tennessee, and David (Misty) Richardson of Lancaster, Ohio. His grandchildren, Roger (Mariela) Richardson Jr., Ameila (Robert) Harbert, Jonathan (Jessica) Richardson, Michelle (Jonathan) Jones, Jamie Muesegaes, Justin (Jess) Richardson, Joshua (Cassie) Richardson, and step grandsons, Dillon Lash and Matthew Nitz; and 15 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 6-8 P.M. There will be a visitation hour at the funeral home the following day, Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 10 A.M. until time of services at 11 A.M. with Pastor Robert Main officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
