Charles Theodore Striker, 79, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away on February 8, 2026 at home, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 26, 1946, in East Liverpool, Ohio, to the late Harry and Edna (Shannon) Striker. In addition to his parents, Charlie is preceded in death by his siblings, Harry Striker, Jim Striker, Ruth (Ralph)Galloway, and Sue (Arthur “Bud”) Gray; his son-in-law, Scott Talkington; his brother-in-law, Dave Schoolcraft; and his grandson, Michael Goski.

Charlie was a 1964 graduate of Jefferson Union High School. He worked at Weirton Steel for 33 years as an engineer on the railroad. Charlie proudly served in the U.S. Army during 1964-1966. He enjoyed doing all things outdoors such as hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening.

He is survived by his loving wife, Myra (Nelson) Striker; his children, Veronica “Bunny” Talkington and Douglas (Christine) Striker; his sister, Mary (Ken) Deweese; his grandchildren, James Talkington, Kayla Striker, and Daniel Dwyer; his great grandchildren, Lillian Talkington, Jacob Goski, Hunter Nelson, and Grayson Talkington; his sister-in-laws, Dorie Striker and Tina Schoolcraft; and his many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received for visitation at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. A funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the funeral home, at 11 A.M. with Pastor Dan Crowe officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Union Cemetery.
